As the name suggests, this section of the website can take you to just about any statistic relating to Australian women's cricket. These statistics are provided by the current Women's Cricket Statistician, Bronwyn Calver. If you have any queries about the information provided please contact her directly via email.
Statistics are divided by competition type, and within, further by country. Details covered include:
- result summaries - played, won, tied, drawn, lost, abandoned....
- match details - date, venue, toss, scores, result....(with links to scorecards from November 1997)
- team records - highest/lowest scores for/against, partnerships....
- individual records - batting, bowling, wicketkeeping, fielding, captaincy, appearances....
- individual statistics for the 193 players who have represented at Test, ODI and/or T20 level...
- every Australian team from 1934, home or away....
- Youth tour details from 1998....
- National championship winners - senior & junior....
NEW! Twenty20 details can now be accessed from the ODI home page.
These statistics have been compiled via the use of Cricket Statistics for Windows, an excellent program from Grahame Giddings.
Just a hint on navigation....this section can get
very deep and, with match cards and player profiles linked whenever available,
you may end up losing your way! The left hand menu will always allow you to
come back to this starting page (by clicking on the words "All 'n Sundry") or
back to the Women's Cricket in Australia Homepage (by clicking on the words
"Women's Cricket WWW"). While you are surfing around each page, the "back"
button is your best option to reverse out of any tight spot you end up in....
