News: This tournament has concluded with NSW taking the Championship
Please note that first round matches commenced at the scheduled time of 11 am, however due to high temperatures forecast for the rest of the week, it has been agreed to commence matches at 10 am for Tue, Wed and final day Thurs.
NSW won the title after their final against Victoria was washed out while the Victoria/NSW Invitational side has finished 3rd after defeating SA.
NSW v Victoria:
NSW won the toss and batted first, making 8/157. E Perry led the way with 42 off 57 (4 x 4) while L Kensit made 32 off 36 (6 x 4). R Greig was the pick of the bowlers with 3/7 off 2 while E Boseley took 2/22 off 4. With the rest of the day washed out due to rain, NSW were declared the champions as they were undefeated in the round matches.
Victoria/NSW Invitational v SA:
SA won the toss and batted first but could only manage 37 as they were dismissed in the 18th over. N Wright topscored with 8 off 22 (1x4) as Hannah Perry (3/1 off 2 including a hat-trick ) and K Rowlands (3/4 off 3) demolished the SA batting. H Taylor also took 2/9 off 4. The Invitational side passed the required total in the 13th over but not before they lost 6 wickets. Emily Watt topscored with 20 off 34 (1 x 4) while A Wiseman (3/1 off 1.5) and C Fiebig (2/15 off 5) made the batters struggle.

Round 1 Monday 15 December
Play got underway yesterday at Caulfield Park with NSW recording a 56 run victory over Victoria and the Victoria/NSW Invitational side beat SA by 8 wickets. The games are played over 35 overs per innings.
NSW v Victoria: NSW won the toss and batted, amassing 8/168 off 35 overs. L Kensit topscored with 51 off 68 balls (10 x 4, 1 x 6). She was well supported by Alyssa Healy (39 off 62, 6 x 4) and E Perry (20 off 40, 2 x 4). The wickets were shared as A Maloney, B Stray and E Boseley took 2 each.
In reply, Victoria were dismissed in the 35th over for 112. E Villani (20 off 21, 1 x 4 2 x 6) was the only batter to pass 17 - 4 other batters made double figures. Kensit had a good all round game with 2/9 while R Rollason also took 2. The five other bowlers all took one apiece.
SA v Victoria/NSW Invitational: The Invitational side won the toss and elected to field, dismissing SA in the 34th over for 101. A Wiseman topscored with 17 (off 50, 3 x 4) while C Fiebig (15 off 29, 2 x 4), A Guille (14 off 54, 2 x 4) and C Bartlett (10 off 24, 1 x 4) were the only other batters to reach double figures. N Paul was the pick of the bowlers with 4/13 while Mary-Ann Germanos took 2/13.
The Invitational side took only 16.5 overs to reach the target for the loss of only 3 wickets. Connie Osbourne topscored with 27 off 29 (5 x 4) while Germanos (26 off 37, 5 x 4) and Gizelle van der Merwe (20* off 19, 4 x 4) chipped in. M Armanas (1/21) and N Wright (1/22) were the only wicket-takers.
Today Victoria takes on SA while NSW plays the Invitational side.
Round 2 Tuesday 16 December -
NSW remain undefeated after winning by 39 runs while Victoria joined the winner's circle after winning by 70 runs.
NSW v Victoria/NSW Invitational: The Invitational side won the toss and fielded, NSW making 7/153 off their 35 overs. Erin Osbourne topscored with 46 off 74 while captain Alyssa Healy made 41 off 66 (4 x 4). Rhiannon Dick chipped in with 21* off 21 (3 x 4). Hannah Perry took 4/27 while N Paul and Melissa Penman took one each.
In reply, the Invitational side made 7/114 - N Paul topscoring with 44* off 54 (8 x 4).
E Perry took 2/22 while Mel van der Reyden, Alex Julien, Sarah Coyte and Dick took one apiece.
Victoria v SA: Victoria won the toss and batted, making a huge 3/179 off their 35 overs. J Cameron led the way with 46* off 43 (5 x 4) and was well supported by captain E Villani (34 off 46, 8 x 4), R Melton (31 retired hurt off 34, 3 x 4) and A Maloney (24 off 38, 1 x 4). A Wiseman (1/13 off 4) and C Harding (1/21 off 3) were the only wicket-takers.
SA were all out in the 34th over for 109 - Wiseman (25 off 57, 1 x 4) and M Armanas (23 off 31, 3 x 4) were the only batters to reach 20. S Johnson took 2/8 off 5 while M Ciavarella took 2/32. Five other bowlers took one each.
Today Victoria takes on the Invitational side while NSW plays SA. With SA unlikely to topple NSW, the other match will decide who plays NSW in thefinal.

Round 3 Wednesday 17 December -
NSW remained undefeated after winning by 9 wickets and with 28 overs to spare. Meanwhile, Victoria won by 58 runs. Today's finals will see NSW and Victoria playoff for 1st while the Invitational side will play SA for 3rd.
Victoria v Victoria/NSW Invitational:
The Invitational side won the toss and fielded, Victoria racking up 2/201 thanks to a century by captain E Villani (114 off 91, 16 x 4, 3 x 6). Next best was B Stray with 40* off 88 (3 x 4). The only wicket-takers were K Rowlands (18 off 6) and Gizelle van der Merwe (1/29 off 4).
In reply, the Invitational side were dismissed in the 32nd over for 143. van der Merwe topscored with 43 off 39 (6 x 4) while L Daly made 23 off 37 (3 x 4). J Cameron led the way with the ball to take 3/30 off 6 while S Johnson took 2/21 off 5.
SA v NSW :
NSW won the toss and fielded, dismissing SA for 50 in the 24th over. N Wright was the only batter to reach double figures with 22 off 30 (3 x 4). Rhiannon Dick took 3/6 off 3.3 while R Rollason (2/2 off 4) and L Kensit (2/6 off 4) provided good support.
NSW only require 7 overs to make the required score for the loss of only 1 wicket, A Corby finished on 27* off 23 (4 x 4). Wright took the only wicket to fall for 24.
