Claimed her second consecutive Women's International Cricketer of the Year award at the 2002 Allan Border Medal presentation in Melbourne. Received the award in New Zealand where the Australian team were in camp ahead of the four-nation one-day international tournament.

Was the competition's third-highest and Australia's second leading run-scorer in the quadrangular ODI tournament, with 291 runs at 58.20 from seven matches. Led the competition's batting averages with 58.20.

Australian vice-captain since 1997.

Australia's second highest run-scorer in one-day international cricket, with 2278 runs. Took her 50th ODI wicket on against New Zealand on Australia Day in January.

Holds the record for the highest individual Australian Test innings (209*) against England in 2001.
